Hotel Royal - Stuttgart

I had a lovely time. the room was spacious with a cozy lounge area and a huge bathroom. The breakfast options were delightful and fresh. However, I had some minor flooding issues with the bath.

Good location ( like from railway station or S-U-Bahn stations), huge space of room, friendly staff.

Unfortuantely room was faced to the street with casino - it was noisy.

Renovated room with two bathrooms, friendly staff, excellent food in the hotel-restaurant (hard to find in hotel-restaurants),

Difficult to reach due to road-works in Stuttgart

The staff were friendly, the spacious room had a cozy lounge area, and the bathroom was well-appointed with beautiful amenities. The location was perfect, surrounded by good cafes and shops.

Breakfast options were limited.

The hotel decor is outdated (apparently pictures on the website are not representative) and the level of cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

The staff was kind

The single room was equipped with a single bed. There was no curtain in the shower and thus the bathroom ground was filling with water at the end of the shower. There was no mini bar in the room.

The room was small, but the suite upgrade was fantastic.

I loved room 247 and the facilities therein. The staff were wonderful, very accommodating and really nice.

Because I was at first booking a single room for the first night and then I had to change to a double we ended up staying in a front room on the street and it was noisy very early in the morning with the new construction site nearby.

Maybe the rooms are a bit old, Call it vintage..they are very clean Goog location Proper breakfast Friendly, young staff

The hotel's decor is original 60's very cool.

When I communicated my concerns to the reception, their dismissive response only added to my frustration, as I had clearly witnessed the noise disruption. This experience has significantly affected my perception of the hotel's service quality.

The staff were friendly, cooperative and helpful and the service was of a high quality compared to other 4 and 5 star hotels I have stayed in around the world. Also, the convenience for travel was excellent as the Stadtmitte S-Bahn station was only a half block away and ten stops to the airport station. The hotel offered a 3 day ticket with unlimited travel in all Stuttgart areas up to and including the airport for 14.50 Euros which was an absolute bargain for those attending the Stuttgart Airport Messe on business. It is really quite unnecessary to use expensive taxis when there is a hotel this close to the station and yet in the middle of an excellent shopping and tourist area with a dozen sidewalk restaurants just around the corner.

Some of the rooms were not yet refurbished and the avacado bath and sink gave that away. However, it was very clean.

Extremely noisy at street level at night. Bedroom looked a little tired and in need of refurbishment. Bathroom also needed upgrading. Poor hot water pressure

Hotel Royal provided a wonderful experience with a great location, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. The bathroom amenities were really good, especially the fabulous water pressure and the cozy seating area.

Breakfast could be improved.

The location is stunning - minutes from a S-Bahn station. You'll need 5 minutes to walk to Biddy Early's Irish Pub with nice drinks.

The hotel was very clean and there was very little noise from other residents or outside. Very peaceful. Free Wi-Fi was also available in the room which was a plus.

It was a pity there was no complimentary tea/coffee making facilities in the room; this is something I would expect in hotels that attract customers from abroad. On business, one tends to work the evenings in the room and refreshment would have been nice without having to go downstairs to the bar. I would also have liked additional bed blankets/duvets/pillows etc. to be available. The duvet was small and I had to use the duvet from the other bed in the room to keep warm. If my wife had joined me we would have had to contact reception for additional covers.
